With the SEO industry filled with noise, it’s easy to get lost in the sea of generic content creators and SEO gurus.

With this post, I will list some of the best SEO creators I enjoy following and why you should follow them.

Also, I will not be listing myself as #1.

Best SEO Influencers to Follow in 2025

1. Daniel-Foley Carter (SEO)

Daniel Foley Carter is probably the first person I started following in SEO.

For good reason, too.

He’s been the most consistent in terms of quality posting and is trying to offer something unique.

His advice is also very actionable too. 

He usually posts about:

  •  SEO strategies (What you should avoid and prioritize instead)
  • Technical SEO (Tactics you likely haven’t heard of)
  • The occasional rant here and there. 

Daniel is very passionate about SEO, which shows in his posts.

2. Mark-Williams Cook (SEO)

For some reason, I find Mark and Daniel to be very similar.

Mark was also another one of those posters I first started following when I got into SEO.

Again, like Daniel, his posts have been consistently helpful. And I’m talking about 4+ years of consistently posting.

Mark posts in a similar way to Daniel, but he usually focuses his posts on quick tips (unsolicited SEO advice) and weekly updates on the industry that are very helpful.

3. Chris Long (Tech SEO)

Chris Long is a personal favorite of mine.

His advice usually boils down to industry updates or quick tips that you can use.

His posts are very straight to the point and done to educate.

Something that can be rare on LinkedIn.

Posting on LinkedIn just to sell.  

But anyway, I highly recommend giving Chris a follow.

4. Liam Fallen (SEO and SEO Memes)

While Liam doesn’t post as many SEO tips, his SEO meme game is perfect.

I especially appreciate this on LinkedIn.

While I like all the helpful content you can find there, it’s also nice to see some humor in the industry.

Seriously, the guy is hilarious, give him a follow.

5. Ben Goodey (SEO + Content Marketing)

While I don’t know Ben personally, I have talked to him several times on LinkedIn and have always enjoyed our conversations.

I think Ben sets a standard for SEO content on LinkedIn.

He always goes above and beyond with his posts, which are genuinely helpful to his audience.

He also has a great podcast worth checking out.

6. Andrew Holland

Andrew Holland is another personal favorite of mine.

What I appreciate so much about his content is the uniqueness he always offers with each post.

A common problem on LinkedIn is that people recycle the same generic stuff for engagement.

I have not gotten that impression from Andrew whatsoever.

In fact, it seems like in every post, he wants to offer something new to the conversation.

Whether challenging inefficient norms or suggesting new ways to do things.

I also think he’s the most “on track” when it comes to predictions about where SEO is heading.
